Default Date Format - 02-04-2010 , 04:24 PM

Hi
FM10a

I'm having trouble displaying the date format, the source is a SQL
database, the table and field is set to Timestamp
in the layout I try to set the date format to "1 december 2005" but it
wont work, keep the timestamp format mm/dd/yyy hh:ss.

If I go change in the definition that field for DATE instead of
TIMESTAMP the field display correctly, but all the calculation that I
use that won't work anymore

the SQL data type is Timestamp

TY

JF

To change the displayed format on a timestamp field, you need to set
both the date format AND time format.

TY I know and also the number format is use to set up the sec. ....
but If I don't want to show the time ?? in the time there's no option
NO DISPLAY...
And shorten the field is nor working, some month are short May VS
December, so for the short month the time is display in the right
part....

create a calc that filters just the date and show that on your layout
