Default database designer wanted - 03-28-2007 , 05:33 PM

sorry if this is the wrong board, I am definitely not up to making my
own (functioning!) databas, but I know enought to know that what I
need is not that complicated, Sombody could proabably modifiy a
template in an afternoon. But the big question is: Where to find that
someone, and what is a reaonable per hour price? Any help appreciated.

It would help if you told us where you are located.

I am used to work remotely, but I need to have a look on where you stand in
your work to see if your assumption is not too optimistic as usual. More
details on what you want to achieve would also be welcome.
Proposed lump price and timing may come out from that evaluation.
Regards.

As Remi-Noel I'm used on working remote. As Remi-Noel I expect you to be a
bit optimistic, users generaly are.
Further I would like to know what you already have, what platform, what
version filemaker. I couldn't give you a quote beforehand, but generaly I go
with a flat fee per hour. I do this because creating a database generaly
costs more time then envisioned when starting it. It doesn't mean that I am
more expensive, just that you pay for the work I deliver. This work generaly
includes a beta version and one time free maintenance.
