Default Creating Signs - 10-30-2006 , 09:36 AM

Hi,
I'm creating a DB and would like to be able to select certain names to
print out.
Example:
We need to create cubical signs from a list that was generated in
Excel. I created a DB and imported the names. Now I want to print out
only selected names on 8.5x11" stock, 3 per page. These selections
would not be consecutive in the DB. How would I go about doing that? Is
it possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Create a labels layout using custom measurements, 3 labels per page,
1-wide. Size the label appropriately according to the font you're using.

And before you do that...

....add a field, PrintMe, to your database. Add it to a layout, format it as
a check box, and specify it should have a value list of "1" ... go to Browse
mode and you can check off the records that should be printed. Go to Find
mode, click the check box, and perform the find. Now only the records you
checked off are selected. Then you can print your labels.
