Place a button object on the layout. A button setup window opens. Scroll all the way down to Miscelanaous category and select "OpenURL" command. You are then prompted for a url. In browse mode, whena user clicks on this button, a browser opens and loads the web document you specified. You can also turn other objects into buttons and make them open web pages. Is it possible to have FMP do the same thing to open another file? I see how you can do it with another FMP file, but can you get FMP to open a Word file, for example??? This is very easy to do. In script maker select "Send Event" script step in "Miscellaneous" group. The options for this script step include open file. |
