Default Changing Table Widths - 04-24-2007 , 10:14 AM

Is it possible to change (increase) the default table column width so
when viewing a database in table view you can see more information?

I've never bothered with Table View, but a quick play seems to indicate
that you can drag the dividing line between two columns to make the
left-side column wider / narrower, just like most spreadsheet
applications. FileMaker will then remember the change for that Layout
even when you change Views or close the file, but I don't see any way
to set a "default" for all layouts (old or new).

Yes, just hit the deviding line between two field in the header. click and
drag to the width you want. This setting is then remembered

Keep well, Ursus
