Few years ago I used FM for data entry for survey research. Then, the
already filled in questionnaires were entered in Filemaker, question
by question. Now more than 5 years later in a new workplace I want to
explore the possibility of using FM again, now for Computer-Assisted
Telephone Interviewing (CATI). I have few questions for this fine
group.

1) Can Filemaker easily work with skip patterns? (that is automate
this process: if value in field Q1 = 1 then go to field Q2 else go
field Q3)

2) Can the data-entry order be programmed such that once a field is
completed (according to a list of values or number of digits)
automatically go to next field?

3) Could I have a field (container or calculated field) that looks up
text for current field?)? Rather than placing the exact wording of
every single question on a given layout, I would like the top of the
screen display current question.


4) If anyone knows where to find template for using FileMaker for CATI
those templates may answer all three questions.
