I put an FMP file on a citrix server. The task managers starts this file once a day so it can run a script that ends with exit applications. The file is opened with a local FMP client for this purpose. I recently added a script to this file. Since then, I can't open the file any more - it says it's used by some other person or some other program. I know it is not, I even deleted the task that regularly starts that file, but the error message persists. It also appears when I try to close the file. Work around: I create a new file for the task. But how do I get rid of this ghost file? --http://clk.ch |

Pick up a utility that lets you look up open file handles etc and search for the file name, it will lead you to the thread, process, userid, and executable file, that has the file open. |
