I am looking for either an existing solution or a way to make a production log. Here is the groundwork: there is a fixed number of items that can be processed in a given day. As jobs are assigned to each day of the week (Monday through Friday), their peice count is subtracted from the global maximum total for each day. When you try to assign a job to a day and there isn't enough pieces left on that day, it moves or suggests the next available day. The calendar has to take into account weekends and holidays and not schedule any jobs on those days. There should be a way to override a day in case there a job is only a few pieces over what is left for a day. A calendar format would be great and it should be web viewable. Anyone have any suggestions?? |
