Default Browse for application - 07-30-2005 , 10:52 PM

Hi all,

I am trying to set up a field where a user could click to browse for an
application, then the file path would be entered in the field as a
reference. I hope that is somewhat clear. I have been trying to use a
container but it keeps telling me that it cannot paste a reference to
an application because it has other files in it, I am assuming that the
fact that application in Mac OS (10.3.9) are comprised of files in a
"package." Can anyone share their knowledge and or thoughts on this to
help out?

All replies appreciated. TIA

Peace.

Check out www.productivecomputing.com, and look for File Manipulator. It's a
plugin, but a relatively cheap one. www.wavesinmotion.com and www.troi.com
both have file plugins, too, which have a few more functions, but are more
expensive.
