I've set up two tables. The first (Main) has approx. 40 records corresponding to the contracts I manage. The second table (Contacts) will have about 30 records, as some contracts share a common contacts record. I've designed a Layout using the Main table, which in Form View, shows me one record. I'd like to be able hit a button on this layout which will jump to the related Contacts record. |

Do I need to define a relationship between the two tables? |

I'd like to be able hit a button on this layout which will jump to the related Contacts record. Go to layout mode, choose the buttom tool from the status bar and put it on your layout. Attach the step "go to related record" to that buttom. Do I need to define a relationship between the two tables? Absolutely. |
