Default Avery - 01-27-2007 , 11:27 AM

I would like to know if there is a template for Avery laser labels: L7161.
I could get it on an earlier version of FM but not on v.8

Regards
Eileen

Since it is not there anymore you have to create the layout yourself. Which
is not too difficult a task

Create a new layout, Goto layout mode, Goto layout setup.
Choose the printing tab. Set the check box to Print. Fill in 3 for the
number of columns
Set the checkbox for fixed page margins and fill in these values:
Top: 0,42 cm
Left: 0,42 cm
Bottom: 0,46 cm
Right: 0,71 cm

Click ok, you will now see the regions properly set up and you just have to
add the fields you want
Keep well, Ursus

If all else fails, use the custom measurements feature to create your own layout.

Measure your labels, enter those figures and number of laabels across in the appropriate spaces.

It may require a little trial and error to get it exact. Print tests on blank paper to see if they line up with the labels.

Thank you, Ursus & Matt.
I'll try Ursus's measurements as I've tried the 'trial & error' method with
only barely adequate success.

The Avery web site does not list L7161, so apparently they don't make
them anymore. It may be equivalent to another Avery label, and you can
use that instead for your layout.

Following your advice, I searched the Avery site and it looks like J8161 is
equivalent, so I'll try that.
Thanks again, Bill
