Or, I could make one if there absolutely isn't one around. I have
FMP6. What I need is a simple db to catalogue images.

- support at least the 4 major graphic formarts: JPG, BMP, GIF and
PNG

- the db should show the image and hopefully not generate a
thumbnail. Just display at a certain size. Hopefully for large
pictures one could press a button and it would show at original size.

- would also catalogue subfolders if requested so that if I set this
db to catalogue one folder that it would also list all image in
subfolders

- any new pictures dumped into folder(s) either it would automatically
include them in an index or a button could "refresh" the list.

- I'd like to have ability to add comments and keywords so would have
boxes for each picture to do that with but it would need to know what
text belongs to which picture.

- lastly, and importantly, need to be able to search on any keyword or
comment word(s).

Can this be done? I'll start looking for details after on the net to
do the individual functions was just wondering before expending a lot
of time writing something up, that this can be done.

If there isn't an FMP graphics cataloguing solution out there then pls
let me know.

I also have looked through and tried a couple dozen freeware and
shareware apps but none do what I need..

You might try Jonathan at <http://www.imagingsol.com/>. He is a very
good FMP developer in Los Angeles with high-quality imaging and catalog
solutions. But I'll warn you -- it isn't cheap.
