Thanks to a couple of gurus I was able to solve my problem.
I have another problem though and here it is:
I do not want a portal to show up when there is no related record. This
was working before I made changes to the pen color and fill color and a
couple of format/color related control. And it is still working in the
IWP side of the house but not when users run it from their workstations.
This file is hosted on filemaker server.
