Merge.It Pro® works by creating a library of merge codes based on

Dialog, static text, and even FileMaker® Pro system functions. The
merge codes are then used in a word processing program to create a
document template. Create as many instances of a document template
with data from the FileMaker® Pro solution.

Create batches of documents to 1 or more records with a single
FileMaker® Pro script. Systematically save the newly created merged
document to a record specific directory on the computer. Assign the
name of the newly processed document a record specific value. Use
special dialogs to prompt users for the result of a merge code at the
time of processing.
