Hi all,

I'm sure many developers have used the visibility tricks where a
calculation is related to a constant and a portal uses that
relationship to toggle visibility. It's been around for ages and has
always worked well.

I'm upgrading a solution to v8 and I have seperated the data file from
the layout file, I'm trying to use this same 'trick' in the layout file
and I can't get it to work. Is it just me or can anyone else confirm
this behavior?

Anyone have any ideas on workarounds?

Seems to work just fine in FM8, is it possible that you have an
unstored field on the right side of your relationship?
