Default adding hyperlink to a file on the same server as the FMweb Host - 01-25-2007 , 02:42 PM

Is there a way to create a link to a file that is not part of the filemaker
solution (ie not stored in any table) so that web users can open (or dload)
referenced files? The referenced files are behind our firewall (and need to
stay there) because we don't want te whole world accessing them. You would
need to log into the FM web solution to be able to get to them.

Is there a simple AND secure method to accomplish this?

Still no idea on this? I've hit bottom looking.

I'm running fm8.5 on sbs2003 server. Web users would be accessing solution
via IWP.

Thanks
Steve
