Default Adding field - 07-29-2005 , 12:34 AM







After doing a layout and adding data...I've decided another field
is needed..how do I add a new field to and exisiting layout?

That was it...I was dragging the field before defining

That *should* work.
There's also an option in the Preferences -> Application -> Layout
window that will automatically add newly defined fields to the CURRENT
layout - but this can be more of an annoyance than a help, especially
when you've got the layout sized perfectly and then add a new field,
the layout will be streteched as the new field is plonked underneath
everything else. \
