Is it possible to pass a script parameter along with the name of the
script using the DoFMScript function? If not, can anyone think of a
workaround to pass information to FileMaker besides just "Perform this
script", or is that impossible?

The ActiveX Object from filemaker is very limited. So this can not be done.
Please would you care to go to filemaker.com and add a decent object to the
wish list.

PS with OSX you can use applescript and with some work this can be done.
