Hi there -- This will be a vague question, but I'm hoping someone can jar my brain a little and help the solution pop up. I've got a simple, single-table database that lists films screenings. I've got a few layouts that are designed to print out a simple listing of films. For instance"By Director" Lists each director and beneath the name, his films alphabetically (once you sort by Director & Title). So, when I perform the sort and enter "Preview" mode, it looks pretty as a picture -- all alphabetized and laid out as I'd like. But when I hit "Print" and then view the Preview (or Make .pdf, which is what I want to do at the moment) -- all I get is a single page with a single film title at the top!?? How can this be happening? I've done this sort of thing all the time, with no problem, and I think I've done it in this database in particular (the layouts are ones I created a year ago -- it happens in all of them). What the heck can I be missing? It must be some tiny thing... I'm in fmp 6 for this file, but when I opened it up in fmp8 it did the same thing. befuddled, Albert |

Somewhere in the print options (Mac or PC?) is the option to print Current Record or Records being Browsed. |

Wow -- that was it! I'd solved this problem for friends running PC's in the past, but had never encountered it on my Mac systems -- but for the first time now I've discovered a "Filemaker" menu within the printer panel of options. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! |
