FileMaker has just released a Windows updater for FileMaker Pro 8.5 and FileMaker Pro Advanced 8.5. 8.5v2 for Windows addresses two key areas: - Makes FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Advanced work better under Windows Vista - Addresses the "big" print job issue many of us have encountered. Huh -- if after 6+ months since the release of 8.5, this is *all* they had to fix in an updater, I guess that's not bad... |

What means "big"? I tried FMP 8.0 once on Mac, and it still does produce huge PDFs (50 MB instead of 0.5 MB) since it included font definitions again and again. |
