Default For what programming language is the command BTRVFAR? - 10-15-2003 , 07:04 AM

Hello,

for what programming language is the command BTRVFAR?

I thought it's for VB1.0 or other Basic but every time i will compile
the code an error occurs. I found this thread:

us/42/466.HTM[/url]

They wrote that the command not work in Basic. In what programming
language the command work?

Thanks a lot!

It's used with MS Basic PDS 7.1 when compiling /f for far strings or when
running programs in the IDE. I don't know if VB DOS used far strings but if
it did, it will probably work.

When I used VBDOS, an error occurs by the command BTRVFAR.

Must I use PDS 7.1 to compile the .BAS-files to .EXE files? Sorry for my
questions but I can't english and programming very well

Thanks a lot!

Yesterday I don't know the right error message. Today I run a test and
here is a sample:

In a SUB they CALL the BTRVFAR command and the error occurs when I want
to start the programm or compile it:

Subprogramm not defined

SUB xyztest ()

CALL BTRVFAR(1%,2%,3%,4%,5%,6%,7%,8%)

END SUB

The % are the parameters from BTRVFAR.

Somebody has a description about the command BTRVFAR and the Parameters?

Thanks!

Hello Reinhard,

thank you for your help.

How can I make a .qlb?

How can I link the obj?

Do you know where I can found a documentation about the interface?

Thanks!

Go to www.pervasive.com and search for BTRVFAR.
