Default VB & ActiveX Controls problem - 05-09-2007 , 09:39 AM

Is anyone using VB with the Pervasive ActiveX Controls, in particular
VAList with VAVScroll?

The VAVScroll 'Small Change' buttons work fine, scrolling up and down
the list record by record. But I can't get the thumb scroll to change
the position in the database.

I use the activeX controls. But I don't use the VAList or VAScroll.
I prefer to do my own grid or list. I also had problems with them and
gave them up. But I really like the activex controls for quick
development.

V9? If so contact Pervasive and get the latest MKDE FTF. Had same issue
w/VAVScroll, FTF resolved it.

Thank you Gil. I like them too, and I think the problem's solved (see
other post).

Many thanks Don. While looking for information about the MKDE FTF
(what's FTF mean?) I realised I was still on v9.10 Workgroup, so I
upgraded to v9.50 SP2. And the VAVScroll works! On we plod
