table and column name length limit

hi
i'm using Pervasive.SQL 2000i under windows 2k.
i want to create tables with names longer than 20 characters and
columns with names longer than 20 characters.

is it a pervasive limitation ? can it be fixed ? can u create longer
names ?

This is a hard limitation at this time. There is no workaround.
