PSQL2000i had support for Solaris as well.
This semm to be terminated in PSQL 8.x. Is this right?

Correct,

There is no V8 version of PSQL for Solaris.

On the side, Solaris support was dropped before the end of PSQL 2000's
lifecycle. There has been no active support on the product since the
release of build 7.90 in March 2001.
