Default Strange errors Pvsw8.6 / Novell 5.0 - 05-25-2005 , 08:50 AM

Hello,

I see about 50 such messages a day on Netware console
(NW 5.0 with Pervasive 8.6 installed)

NWMKDE-2111: System Error: 309.36.0 File:
VOL1:FIRMA/NNNNNNN/GM/GMPODO4.DAT

Those messages are about various files.
I've been checking those files and they're not corrupted.
It has started several days ago.
No user has been complaining about any problems (no status 2
complaints specifically).

Is it something to worry about ?

Thanks
Przem

pozdrawiam
Darek

Ok, I've found solution meanwhile on Pervasive site ,
here it goes:
<snip>
ID: psql6329
What is the meaning of system errors in the range of 301 - 318, for
example, System Error: 309.36.0.

Problem Description:
What is the meaning of system errors in the range of 301 - 318, for
example, System Error: 309.36.0.

Problem Environment:
Pervasive.SQL V8.5

Pervasive.SQL V8

Solution:
Changes to the version 8 engine use system errors in the range 301 -
318 to provide addition details in the event an extended operation
request receives a status 62 :Invalid Descriptor.

The following system errors occur with a status 62 Invalid Descriptor
from Op = 36 or 37.

301 BAD_FILTER_LENGTH Descriptor length is incorrect.

302 BAD_FILTER_ID Descriptor ID must be either "EG" or "UC".

303 INVALID_KEY_TYPE A field type is not valid.

304 BAD_NO_CASE_FLAGS The NOCASE flag on the operator can only be used
with string types & NIS.

305 BAD_ASC_FLAGS The ACS flags(0x08 & 0x20) on the operator can only
be used with string types.

306 ZERO_LOGICAL_OPERATOR Unbiased operator == 0

307 BAD_LOGICAL_OPERATOR Unbiased operator > 6

308 BAD_CONNECTOR Invalid expression connector, only 0, 1, 2 allowed.

309 ACS_NOT_DEFINED No ACS is defined in the file.
....
</snip>

Files in question indeed don't have ACS , and they should have ...
