PervasiveSQL DataCenter is located on Windows 2000 machine with
ServicePack 4 and Pervasiv Engine Server v.7.94.251.003 SP4 2000i
Client side :
Windows 2003 Server SP1 with IIS http server and without any antivirus
software Terminal Services are put into administration mode
Is it Microsofts problem or maybe SQL ???
Anybody solved that problem so far ?
Please send any hints if you already fought this problem

Try re-installing the Pervasive client to the workstation. "Error
initializeing component" probably means that a needed DLL is not found.

Well I would expect the 8505 and 8517 "error" messages logged in the
pvsw.log message unless you actually have a "Workstation Engine"
(WSE).
The PCC tries to open a session with all possible engines when it
starts and that gets logged if you don't have one.

You aren't by any chance trying to run the SQLDM session through a
terminal server are you? If so try it from the console itself (if
possible) or a normal client machine.
