Hi,

I'm trying to access databases on remote servers. I read what I could find
in the documentation and found the info about setting up a group called
Pervasive_Admin and everything works fine where the server I attempt to
connect to is not an Active Directory server.

I have Pervasive.SQL v8 SP1 installed on a Win2000 Advanced Server SP4 which
is also the Active Directory domain controller. I have tried creating the
Pervasive_Admin group as Domain Local and Global and either way, I am unable
to access the server. PvConnectServer() returns 7004.

Does anyone know how to make this work on a Server which also runs Active
Directory?

Pervasive.SQL 2000i has been tested with MS Active Directory and no
problems found. The DTI status code 7004 is a very general error and
doubt that it has anything to do with AD. It you have a test case I can
run here I will be happy to investigate this issue.
