Default Refresh Report Error: VB .net + CR + Pervasive - 09-19-2006 , 12:12 PM

I have gotten no response on the crystal vb forum so I'm trying my luck
here:

I get this error if I refresh the report programatically or manually in
the crystal report viewer in my app:

"Failed to load database information. Details: The database DLL
'crdb_p2bbtrv.dll' could not be loaded. Error in File
<FileName>:Failed to load database information."

I'm using Visual Studios 2005 + VB.Net + Crystal Reports 10 + Pervasive
2000

Any ideas? Is this likely my bug or 'their bug'?

I recently ran into the same situation with an accounting program that
uses Crystal 10 as it's reporting engine. The same error message
(Failed to load database information) appeared whenever we tried to
run reports from one specific workstation. Upon some investigation, we
did locate a directory and files originating with Crystal 9. Once we
renamed the directory with the Crystal 9 files in it, the error
stopped and we could run reports.

The downside was, that another program using Crystal 9 stopped
working. It seems that Crystal viewers for versions 9 and 10, at
least, cannot co-exist peacefully.
