Terry,

To get the client side settings you don't need to call
PvConnectServer just use a handle value of "-1". That should get you
the client side settings.

I appreciate the info, I have tried the -1 and now I can get local
settings!

I am having trouble connecting to the server passing in the Servername
and a user that has admin rights, it does not set my ConnectionHandle
properly. It stays at whatever default I set it at, or it appears to
connect me to my Client machine and returns the name LocalHost as the
server after I call PvGetServerName().

Any Ideas are appreciated!
