I am encoutering error FRM-40508 while performing update query in a table.
I have checked for any constraint violation, authority to database etc.I
have set Database Data Block property of the block to true and false and
checked for both the cases.
Please help me remove such error.

Doesn't sound like a Pervasive.SQL error at all... These are usually in
a much different range.
