sorry if this is a bit off topic but as I'm going to switch from
Netware to Linux server, I wonder if there is a way to upgrade without
paying for a full product (as my Franch vendor says)

I run actually V8.6 on NW5.1, the V9 netware upgrade is in the box
(never opened)
