Is PSQL-V7(SP6) Hyperthreading-CPU compatible?
(OS: Windows 2000 server)

Technically, PSQLV7 is thread-safe. However, SP5 had some real problems
on running on ANY SMP computer. Many of these issues were resolved in
SP6, but not necessarily all of them.

If it were me, I would NOT run the PSQL7 on a box which is reported to
have multiple CPU's, either hyperthreaded or actual. Pervasive.SQL V8
is a much better solution in these cases, and I have customers running
it on some pretty hefty 8-way boxes.

Sorry, but I can't switch my customer to V8 at the moment: it seems that
V7 stored procedure's sintax is quite different from V8 (i.e. scroll
cursor and variable declarations and type, as far as I remember).
