I'm trying to install our software (which runs on a Pervasive DB) on a workstation that is also running MS SQL Server Service Manager for an unrelated HR program. MS SQL was previously installed on the machine and the Pervasive 2000i client install went through with no problems or errors. However, every time I try to launch our software, the computer freezes and we must reboot. When we go into the computer's event log, we see the following message: "Event ID (19011) in Source (MSSQL$HRDB) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the neccesary registry information or message DLL files. SpnRegister: Error 1355" I can open up DB tables in Pervasive Control Center with no problem and there are other machines on the same network that are running our software with no problem. I tried to reinstall the 2000i client and the computer locked up again. I have been unable to find any info on this problem online. Any help with this is greatly appreciated as our client would like to have our software up and running on this machine as soon as possible. |
