I have 5 Pc, --> a"server" with W XP Pro , a "client" with Xp Pro, and 3
"clients" with Win 98 Se.
I have the opportunity to upgrade those with win 98 Se , installing a brand
new OEM Win Xp Home, with a small expense...
Yes, i know that il will be perfect to upgrade all with W xp Pro, but it
will be much more expensive...
Now, all the network (Nics 3com, Hub 3com, 100Mbps Tcp/ip protocol) works
very vell.

I would upgrade only for security, stability, not for any particular
problem.

Someone had trouble with Win xp Home and pervasive v.8 ? In particular i
refer to networking problem.

Pervasive.SQL should work OK with XP Home. However, you should note that XP
Home was intentionally limited by Microsoft in several ways, especially with
respect to networking capabilities.

I do NOT recommend using XP Home unless _absolutely_ necessary.
