Default Pervasive sql queries in Lytec 2005? - 04-17-2006 , 09:40 PM

I have Lytec 2005 which is a practice management program using Pervasive SQL v8.7. I would like to run queries on my practice data but it appears to be password protected by Lytec when it was installed. Some demo databases are readily accessed and not protected.

An old knowledge base article in Lytec shows how to retrieve this information, but in Lytec 2005, that option is missing and unavailable.

I'd appreciate any suggestions!
thanks,
david

An obvioius question, but have you contacted Lytec Support for help on
this one? If they have protected the files, this may have been done
for a specific reason.

I believe you are correct. The application vendor has secured the
data using database security to be HIPPA compliant. To access the
data you will need the correct database login/password.

You would need to contact the application vendor for the security
information to run your own custom reports.
Alternatively I guess they could implement the queries / reports for
you.
