Hi

I did install Pervasive SQL 2000i (40 users) with Sp4 on Netware 6 Sp4.
We are using DOS Application.
Befor this application where conected to Betrieve 6-10.

After installation Pervasive SQL 2000i client on each workstation we recive
error:
- 94: Permission error (windows 98, client novell 3.32sp1).
I can work on this computers after login as admninistrator and the same
person after login on different machine can get conection whit the server.
The change IDsql1093 helps on some computers.

On some winXP stations (client 4.82) I have error:
- can not create temporary file.

On win98 I'm using btrbox95 and bdosstub, on WinXp - brequest

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Sounds like the system is trying to create a temp file in a directory
somewhere, and there is insufficient rights. That is almost always the issue
if Admin user works, but normal users fail.

Have you applied the PSQL2000i SP4 hotfixes yet? If not, get them from
www.pervasive.com and start there.

that starts the DOS app? I think that may be the problem. On Win9x
stations, use btrbox95 and bdosstub like you mentioned. WinNT/2K/XP does
not require any TSR -- just run the app directly.
