Default password problem - 07-25-2006 , 09:33 AM

A client has set up Pervasive Server 9 SP1. They swear they did not enter
any password or user name during the process. Now I cannot create a new
database, because the engine is requesting a user name and password to do
so. Are there default values for this user name and password?

The is a network administrator password. On a Windows box, use
"Administrator" with the admin password. For NetWare, use
".Admin.OrgUnit" where "orgunit" is your organizational unit, and where
the leading dot is important.
