Default P.SQL9 and database login - 05-19-2005 , 06:10 PM

I have an existing application that works fine with P.SQL 8.6.

I have just installed P.SQL 9 and when I run my application it is able to
read from existing v8.6 databases. When I create a new database (created
using ODBC interface and uses referential integrity) and then try to open a
table with the Btrieve interface I get error 170 (Database login required -
Authentication to the database failed due to a wrong or missing username.)

I have not set up any security, so why is it saying that login is required?

Thanks,
- Greg

When you created the database, did you check the "Bound" checkbox? If
so, then you will want to unbind the database first, before accessing
it from Btrieve.
