We're running P.SQL V8.6 on a Netware server (V5.1, SP5) and I'm running the Pervasive Monitor Utility (8.60.192.030) on a Windows XP SP2 PC. The display of user names in the Active Files and Active Users displays is corrupt. Instead of user names I mostly get a mix of printable and non printable characters. It's not possible to work out which user names are being displayed. Is there a fix or patch available? Anyone else seeing this problem? |

Also, resources for which a maximum value used to be configured into BTI.CFG but which are now dynamic are displayed in the MicroKernel Rseource Usge displays with very low maximum values. I currently have Current Peak Maximum Files 71 93 50 Handles 757 798 200 Clients 121 134 30 Ho hum! Guy |

Looks like it's all the yet to be upgraded P.SQL 2000i SP3 clients that have this problem... Yes -- get the clients up to date for best results. |

As for the maximum values, these are placeholders only. If you REALLY want to fix them, edit the SYS:SYSTEM\BTI.CFG file and look for the settings in there. Since theyt mean nothing, though, it really is a waste of your valuable time... |

There are no sttings in BTI.CFG is the monitor is defaulting to something. It's just a niggle in that it would be nice if it defaulted to unlimited or some such. Guy |

The settings SHOULD be in the BTI.CFG. Try adding "MaxFiles" and "MaxCursors" lines and see if that helps. If not, and if you don't have them on any other NetWare server, I'll try to pull out my NetWare laptop to get the proper setting values... Goldstar Software Inc.
