Default P.SQL 9.5, and longvarchar fields - 12-13-2006 , 09:52 AM

I have designed a simple table that uses a longvarchar to store
variable-length text. I have this table fully implemented using the Btrieve
API. I now have a user trying to access/edit/insert records into this table
via ODBC, and from what i can tell, the ODBC drivers are not properly
implementing the longvarchar field.

we're using Pervasive 9.50 across the board.

Is this an odbc problem? a problem with the P.SQL frontend? both?

Previous versions of Pervasive.SQL (specifically PSQLV8.7) had problems
with LongVarChar fields. However, the issues are resolved in v9.5.
