we own a 50 user licence of a Pervasive Btrieve V7 server engine for
netware.
Now we plan to buy a new FileServer with Netware 6.5.
We will make a slow transfer of our Data from the old to the new Server.

Is it possible to install and work with the same Pervasive Server engine
on both servers at the same time?

Possible, probably, best probably not.
Also you may want to grab the latest patches for Pervasive on the
NetWare 6.5 from Pervasive.
If this is a Btrieve API application or applications it might be best
to just bite the bullet and switch everything over.
Either client might work to both server versions (except ODBC).
There will be far fewer issues to just switch everything over at once
(same as installing the new version of Pervasive on the old server
anyway right).
