first my english is bad. i have write a windows application that connect via
pervasive odbc 2.x to a btrieve 6.15 database, when the application is
startet from 5 pc the 6 start from pc 6 don't work, the btrieve tabel or
database is locked? have btrieve 6.15 via odbc a conenction limit of 5 user
? can i set a higher max connection? is the odbc driver the limit?

There was a special "Developer" version of Btrieve 6.15 that some
developers incorrectly sent to their customers. The Developer engine
had a limit of 5 users in it.

You should be able to check this by looking for your status code of:
133 More Than 5 Concurrent Users Attempted Access to Developer Engine

You cn also check this by starting the engine manually and seeing what
messages are displayed, or perhaps by searching the EXE for text
messages that indicate a developer version.

If you do, then you will need to contact your developer to get a "true"
runtime engine.

Neither the developer kit nor the deployment engine were ever free. I
do not believe I have any licenses for either left in stock.

We cannot legally sell the license separately, but we do have the
ability to include it with our own products. Our product KeyCheck can
be bundled with the engine, at a cost of $75.

That is probably the easiest way. There *may* be free tools available
for download on the web that offer the same thing.

Please confirm, though, that you need the Win32 engine -- this is the
one called W32MKDE.EXE -- before you order.
