Default No such table or object - 08-02-2006 , 07:39 PM

I am new to Pervasive and am using 9.1. I have two databases that were
given to me by another party. I am able to connect to one using PCC.
When I try to connect to the other its name appears in the tree view in
PCC but when I click the + to expand the database I get the error
"[Data record manager] No such table or object."

Is there any way to find out what causes this error or to determine the
name of the table or object?

Am I doing something wrong? The steps I used to connect to the database
using PCC are:

1. Unzip the Data.zip file into a folder.

2. Unzip the new DDFs into that folder.

3. Start PCC.

4. Expand Enginges

5. Expand the node for my computer.

6. Right Click Databases.

7. Choose New then Database.

8. Enter ProAm for the Database Name.

9. Select the folder containing the unzipped files for the Location.

10. Uncheck the Create Dictionary Files checkbox.

11. Click the Finish button.

Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks.

Open up the X$File table, and either look through the data to find your
table or modify the SELECT statement to find your table in the Xf$Name
column. Once you find it, look at the Xf$Loc field -- this will tell
you the exact location and filename of the related Btrieve file. At
this time, this table is probably not in the location specified. Fix
this, and you should be able to get to the data.
