Default moving from ms access to pervasive sql server - 08-21-2003 , 08:43 PM

Hi,

I have a MS Access 2000 database that I would like to move it to
Pervasive SQL Server.
It's an invoice database that contains 6 tables which are all linked:

Customers
Customers_Address
Invoice
Invoice_lines
Products
Products_Categories

I am using Indexes (autonumber type field) on each table and I do use
them as a way to link records.

I am just wondering how the indexes are going to be handle in
pervasive
Do I have to create new indexes? What about the records that are
already linked?

Any comment, suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Regard,

Bre-x

Simply run your CREATE TABLE and CREATE INDEX statements to create the
data files (using IDENTITY data type for thekeys), then move the data
over. It will keep the same keys properly for you, and will use the
Btrieve AutoInc data type for assigning new values.
