Default Max. size of CLOB in ADO.NET - 11-14-2006 , 07:59 AM

Hello !
Pervasive's ADO.NET driver crashes if we try to put more than 2000
bytes in a CLOB (longvarchar) field although the documentation says 2GB
of data are allowed. Is this a bug or is there a limitation in the
..NET-Driver? We tried to do ist with V 9.50.017.000.
Thank you in advance.

I haven't tried this with v9.5, but in v8.6 I have no problems writing multi
megabyte values to BLOB and CLOB fields using either ODBC or direct btrieve
calls, so it's probably not a database limitation. I haven't tried it with
ADO or ADO.NET.
