I just found that our production Pervasive 2000 SP2 server only has
MKDE installed while we need the relational engine (SRDE) for ODBC
query to pull data from there.

Is there any way that we ADD the SRDE without re-installing the
current MKDE only installation ?

If Yes, what will happen to the SP2, do we have to re-apply the SP2 ?

The SP2 install from Pervasive did not give a choice about installing
the SRDE, it always did. The application vendor may have done an
embedded install and installed only the components required by the
application. If so the best thing to do would be to clean up what the
vendor installed and install the full version. Pervasive patches
usually do not find or patch embedded installs.
