Default Getting data out of BTrieve (DOS) - 08-22-2006 , 04:33 AM

Hi all,

I need to convert data in BTrieve-file (BTR) on a DOS-machine.
Does anyone have any idea on how to achieve this ?

Are there tools or drivers (eg ODBC) that can be used to read the data
in these BTR-files ?

Thanks in advance,
Glenn

Do you have the DDF files? (data dictionary files)

These define the record layout and in order to use 3-rd party utilities
including ODBC they are required. If you need to build these you can
take a look at BtSearch at www.nssdd.com. It will help you analyze the
structure and build the DDF files. It will also export to dbase or
ascii formats.
