Hi All,

I am having lot of difficulty getting BREQTCP to work on XP. I have
checked the Pervasive knowledgebase and tried all the related
suggestions without any success.

Current setup as follows:

Client setup
------------
Windows XP Pro(SP1)
Netware Client 4.83(SP2)
Pervasive 2000i Client(SP3)

[CONFIG.NT]

Currently our legacy DOS application works fine with BREQTCP(version
7.90) on Windows 95. However on Windows XP, the btrieve returns status
94.

When I tested with BUTIL.EXE(DOS version) under XP, I get the same
result.

BUTIL returns status 94 when I use Novell directory format.

C:\PVSW\BIN\DOS>butil -stat
plaznt01\program:sutha\pvsw\samples\sample.btr

BUTIL-14: The file that caused the error is
plaznt01\program:sutha\pvsw\samples\sample.btr.
BUTIL-100: MicroKernel error = 94. The application encountered a
permission error.
BUTIL-9: The command did not complete due to an unrecoverable error.


BUTIL returns status 20 when I use UNC format.

C:\PVSW\BIN\DOS>butil -stat
\\plaznt01\program\sutha\pvsw\samples\sample.btr
