I have a DDF that I can view and with which I am working in SQLScope. Is there a way to generate SQL scripts for the "CREATE TABLE", the "CREATE VIEW", the "CREATE PROCEDURE" and other objects in the DDF? Tim Farrar |

We have a prototype of a new utility almost ready, called DDF2XML, that can extract the DDF definitions out to either an XML format (for subsequent editing) or directly to the CREATE statements. I have been looking for databases to test this against, and I will gladly run it against your DDF's if you would like me to, providing the SQL script output back to you. Just ZIP up the DDF's & send it to me via Email. Another option is the DDFUTIL package from Roberto Stern (www.stern.com.br, if I remember correctly) which could do this, but I'm not sure if his app is still readily available.
