I have a question about DacEasy, which uses Btrieve.

DacEasy Payroll allows you to create user defined codes. You can also tell
DacEasy to apply this code and the amount-(if it exsists) to any current
employee.

Example:
All employees have code 11 that deducts $3.00 from there check every week.


I want to delete this code from all employees because we no longer use it.
The problem is I would have to manually go into each employee and delete
the code. Is there any utility or program that I code open the .db file
with and edit all these fields at once.

You might take a look at BtSearch32 at www.nssdd.com. It allows you to
do a detailed query on a file and then replace the value in a field
with a fixed value.
